PRE-SHOOT PREP LIST

Your photos are only as good as what is in them!

Interior

  1. Turn on all lights (including lamps, under cabinet lights, oven hood lights)

  2. Twist all windows blinds wide open (if view is not good, halfway opened)

  3. Bathrooms - toilet seat down, removal of toilet paper, trash cans/toilet brush removed. 

  4. Pillows on couches and bed - set upright if fallen over.

  5. Chairs in the dining/kitchen - aligned in uniform.

  6. Keep doors fully opened.

  7. Cabinet doors/drawers - close if opened.

  8. Shower heads/sink faucets are straightened out.

  9. Check the garage (we will not shoot unless requested, or cleaned)

  10. Open all doors to ensure no rooms are missed during shoot. 

Exterior

  1. Hoses - put away or coil up nicely. 

  2. Outdoor pillows - set upright if fallen over.

  3. Move trash cans out of sight.

  4. Move yard signs.

  5. No cars in driveway - ask agent/owner to move it if possible. 

  6. Remove large debris in the driveway/pathway.

  7. Remove the lockbox if it’s in the front door area.
